Important Information...

Fees

  • Intake appointment and evaluation: $175

  • 55-minute therapy session: $150

  • 45-minute therapy session: $125

Investment --

My practice is not contracted with any insurance companies. I accept payment from Health Savings or Flexible Savings Accounts in addition to traditional credit cards. I will be happy to provide you with a Superbill that you may submit to your insurance company. Many insurance companies will accept this for reimbursement at the out-of-network rate for your policy. Please reach out to your insurance provider for more information.

Please Note --

I require an active, working credit card to remain on file. All major credit cards, including FSA/HSA cards, are accepted for payment. If you are primarily using a FSA or HSA card, I will ask that you keep a secondary, backup credit card on file.

Scheduling your first appointment...

Please complete my contact form, letting me know what brings you to seek therapy at this time. I will respond by email to schedule your initial appointment. I will then send you instructions on how to complete the electronic intake paperwork, which will be sent through my electronic health record (TherapyNotes).

Please note: All electronic intake paperwork must be completed by all clients at least 48 hours before the first appointment - otherwise the session will need to be rescheduled.

TherapyNotes is the Electronic Health Record I use in my practice. When you have your initial appointment scheduled, you will receive an email from noreply@therapyportal.com to create an account on the client portal. This special link is uniquely yours and will expire 7 days after you receive the email; please create your account as soon as you receive the invitation. Once you create an account, you can complete the intake paperwork that is available within your client portal.

Cancellation policy

If you are unable to make your appointment, please call or email me at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation/missed session charge.

Good Faith Estimate...

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
