Welcome

Considering therapy is often the first step towards prioritizing your wellbeing. Perhaps you have had therapy before, at other times in your life, or this may be the first time you’ve decided to explore working with a therapist. You may have specific circumstances bringing you to therapy, or you may be seeking to process experiences, thoughts and feelings with someone who is supportive, trustworthy, and non-judgmental. I’m so glad you’re here.

 

I’m a believer in the power of stories, and the power of each of us to gain understanding of our personal narratives, to write and shape the chapters ahead of us. That can seem difficult. Sometimes our stories are so complex that it can be a relief to have someone help us discover how the details fit together and define the whole.

 

When we work together, you’ll be inviting me to share your life story, an honor and responsibility I will hold in the highest regard. I value collaboration with my clients; I respect that you hold the knowledge about yourself that will allow us to work together for your greatest benefit. Collaboration involves not just listening, but truly hearing and responding from a place of empathy and acceptance.
